IEEE Fellow 2021 入選名單揭曉 華人學(xué)者高達(dá)75 人占比26.6%
2020 年 11 月 25 日,IEEE Fellow 2021 入選名單揭曉,這一獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)代表學(xué)術(shù)科技領(lǐng)域權(quán)威榮譽(yù)和重要職業(yè)成就。其中,全球 282 人入選,華人學(xué)者高達(dá) 75 人,占比 26.6%,接近三成。當(dāng)選的中國大陸 Fellow來自清華、北大、上交大、浙大、中科大、西電、西工大、電子科大、北理工、南郵等多所知名高校。
IEEE 的全稱是 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers(國際電氣與電子工程師協(xié)會(huì)),是一個(gè)國際性電子技術(shù)與信息科學(xué)工程師的協(xié)會(huì),如今在全球 160 多個(gè)國家和地區(qū)中擁有近 42 萬會(huì)員。
IEEE 建會(huì)于 1963 年 1 月 1 日,總部位于美國紐約市,是當(dāng)今世界電子、電氣、計(jì)算機(jī)、通信、自動(dòng)化工程技術(shù)研究領(lǐng)域最著名、規(guī)模最大的非營利性跨國學(xué)術(shù)組織。在電氣及電子工程、計(jì)算機(jī)及控制技術(shù)領(lǐng)域中,IEEE發(fā)表的文獻(xiàn)占了全球?qū)⒔?1/3。
IEEE Fellow 即 IEEE 會(huì)士/院士,為協(xié)會(huì)最高等級(jí)會(huì)員,是該組織授予的最高榮譽(yù),在學(xué)術(shù)科技界被認(rèn)定為權(quán)威的榮譽(yù)和重要的職業(yè)成就,每年由同行專家在做出突出貢獻(xiàn)的會(huì)員中評(píng)選出,當(dāng)選人數(shù)不超過 IEEE 會(huì)員總?cè)藬?shù)的 0.1%。由于每年當(dāng)選的 IEEE Fellow 數(shù)量較少,當(dāng)選科學(xué)家基本都是在科學(xué)與工程技術(shù)領(lǐng)域內(nèi)取得重要成就的杰出科學(xué)家。
