文中提出了一種新的二值圖象邊界提取算法。通過分析邊界象素的特征，歸納出一個邊界象素提取算子，該算子最多只需要計算象素的4 鄰域象素，運算量小，速度快，運用他能直接提取出二值圖象的邊界象素，得到單象素寬的邊界。實驗結(jié)果表明，該算法要優(yōu)于傳統(tǒng)的二值圖象邊界提取算法，實用性強。

A New Boundary Extraction Algorithm In A Binary Image TANG Zhen-Jun ZHANG Xian-Quan (Department of Computer Science, Guangxi Normal University, Guilin 541004) Abstract: A new boundary extraction algorithm in a binary image is proposed. An operator is induced by analyzing the feature of the boundary pixel. It just needs four pixels at most, so the computation is small and the speed is fast. Using the operator of boundary extraction, the algorithm can directly extract the boundary pixels from the binary image and get one pixel width boundary. The experimental results show that the new algorithm is better than the traditional algorithms in a binary image and is practicable.
